Dan had a stroke on June 8th, 2018 while in Omaha with one of his best friends. Emergency help rushed him to the hospital in minutes and he spent the next week in intensive care. He then moved to Immanuel Rehabilitation Hospital in Omaha for treatment of paralysis on the right side of his body and help with speech problems.
Dan's positive attitude along with the therapy at Immanuel, support from his family and from his many friends have contributed to steady progress in his recovery.
