Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

On February 3, Dana suffered a stroke.  He was getting ready to go to mass when he said he lost his equilibrium and fell to the floor. He couldn't get up, and realized something was wrong. He was transported by fire truck to Swedish Hospital.  As it turned out, he tore the inside lining of his carotid artery, possibly from coughing (he was suffering from a cold).  This caused the blood clot that proceeded to move to his brain.

We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.   You will see links on this site asking for donations, but these are requested by and  go directly to CaringBridge. CaringBridge is a nonprofit that creates a place for websites for the purpose of communication with family and friends. I just want to clarify that they do not go directly to Dana.

CaringBridge is a nonprofit social network dedicated to helping family and friends communicate with and support loved ones during a health journey. Learn more about CaringBridge.
