On February 22, 2018, the Schmit family rushed their 14 year old son Cyrus to the hospital in the middle of the night. They soon found out that Cyrus had been diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (T.A.L.L.), a type of blood cancer. Cyrus continues to fight.
