Cyndi Rhodes

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep family, friends and all loved ones updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most.  Cyndi has been quietly and bravely dealing with health challenges since December of 2013.   She had an abdominal tumor removed in January of 2014 and was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of 2014.  She was treated for breast cancer with chemotherapy and in early 2015, one year to the day after her abdominal surgery, she had surgery to remove what remained of the breast cancer.  Following surgery was radiation therapy and she was officially in remission in the summer of 2015.  In December 2015, imaging revealed her breast cancer had returned and spread to her lungs, bones and brain.  In order to be near the medical care she needs, she is staying in College Station, TX.  It's wonderful and comforting that she is with her daughter and granddaughter, Adrienne and Jadyn, but at the same time we know it's not easy to be away from home and friends.  Hopefully this site will be a way to send support, good wishes, love notes and whatever else we wish to say to each other as often as we want.
