So here I am in a place that I thought was impossible for me to be in. After much testing and finally a surgical biopsy I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mom passed away from IPF in 2001 so we lived through this once. Still some denial going on in my head I'm sure. Now I'm in the challenge of my life to extend my life, maintain the quality of life and prepare myself for an inevitable lung transplant so that I can move on to the next phase of my life.
