Cullen was diagnosed with Lukemia (ALL) on June 21st, 2017.  After feeling tired from 30-minutes of basketball drills at Davidson Wildcat Camp, we decided to get tested at Chapel Hill Peds with Dr. Kathy Merritt who immediately sent us to Duke.  Now we're here and getting the best care possible from really good doctors, nurses and friends we've made at Duke over the years.  We're fortunate to be so close to a great health center with great people.  Cullen is doing great but also knows he has a long journey.  His attitude so far has been unbelievably positive and amazing in the first 48hrs of learning he has a life-changing challenge ahead.
