Crystals story began late in her pregnancy with Palmer where she noticed a lump  in her left breast that she assumed was  just the beginning stages of her body preparing to breast feed. A few weeks  postpartum she again noticed the lump and decided to schedule an appointment with her primary care to rule out  anything of concern.  Quickly without anyone ruling out cancer the primary care appointment turned into an ultrasound then a breast exam with a surgeon and a biopsy of the lump.  The phone call with results from the biopsy came at noon on Wednesday the 14th of November where they asked her to come in and she all but knew it was what she had feared for the last five days.  The moment she found out that evening everything seemed like a terrible dream and couldn't wake up.  Crystal has what they call stage 2A triple negative breast cancer.
