Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
A brief history: It began August 2017 - During our last five week visit to California, Linda discovered she could not do the things she could do when we first arrived in Cali. She experienced severe coughing periods and found it hard to catch her breath. A doctors visit and X-ray showed cloudy lungs, and the Cali doctor suspected “Valley Fever”. A CTScan showed polyps on her lungs and a suspect spot on her spine. With hurricane Irma bearing down on Florida, we decided to fly into the storm and take care of things related to this heath issue, as well as our properties. Our Florida family doctor ordered a chest MRI and a referral to a pulmonary doctor. Soon after, a PTScan was performed and found reactive (positive) spots on the lung and spine. A bronchial washing revealed malignant cells. This Tuesday begins a visit to our new oncologist at the Jupiter Medical Center. On Thursday, we have a “second opinion” visit to Tampa at the Moffitt Cancer Center. With the advances in cancer research and technologies available, we will be beating this thing with the enthusiasm God has instilled in us to do so. Best Regards, Peter & Linda
