In November 2016 just before leaving for Florida for the winter, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  One thing led to another, Florida got put off for this winter, I had my surgery, a lumpectomy of the left breast and 10 lymph nodes removed from under the left arm, 4 of which were positive for cancer.  Because of the lymph nodes I had to have ct scans then a pet scan.  The Pet Scan showed suspicious lymph nodes from the neck to just above the pelvic area.  On 2/1/2017 I had biopsy of a lymph node in the neck.  They did not get good samples so now I will be going to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus downtown for another biopsy with a pulmonary specialist tomorrow, 2/6/2017.  The goal is to determine if these lymph nodes are carrying the breast cancer or another kind of cancer.  My treatment depends on the outcome of this upcoming biopsy.

My prayer is that God would provide me with a miracle and take the cancer away or at the very least make the lymph nodes breast cancer related as that is the easiest treatment.

Am I afraid?  No, not at all.  I'm not happy about having cancer but I know that Jesus Christ, my Savior, has me covered.  Whatever happens to me is up to Him and I trust His decision.  I'm a winner no matter how I look at the situation.  If I'm given time here on earth, I win, because I get to stay with my husband, children, sisters, aunts,  nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, extended family and my Providence Church Family.  If the Lord decides I'm done down here, I still win, because I know that when I close my eyes here on earth I will immediately be in the presences of my Savior, Jesus Christ.  You see, several years ago, I asked Jesus to come into my heart, John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."  "God loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to be born on earth and die on a cross. Why? We are all sinners and the Bible says the consequence of sin is death, eternal separation from God. There is nothing we can do to make us “good enough” for heaven.  But God made a way. Christ lived a perfect, blameless life and provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He died in our place.

It is only by God’s grace—His undeserved mercy—that we can have eternal life with Him in heaven. All we have to do is have faith, to believe Christ died for us and ask Him to forgive our sins. Would you like assurance that you’re going to heaven?"  From PeaceWithGod.net  If you want to know how you can have the same assurance I have please go to PeaceWithGod.net - the process is a simple prayer and the site will lead you through the process, or call me or email me and I will walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have.  You can't have the assurance of eternal life without asking the Lord's forgiveness, we are not good enough, only Christ was good enough, the perfect sacrifice for our sins.  I hope if you have not made this decision you will read the information on PeaceWithGod.net and seriously consider what I've shared with you above.

I am in a happy place.  I have a wonderful husband, a daughter and son married to wonderful spouses, and 6 of the best grandchildren a Grammy could ever ask for.  I have two beautiful and loving sisters who have provided me with a niece and two nephews who show their love for me.  I also have a loving extended family, great nieces and nephews, cousins.  I have a church family that prays for me everyday and they are forever showing me their love.  How could a woman not be happy.  My life has been good and it has always been surrounded by a loving family.

I'll be posting updates as they become available.  Love to you all and God's blessings.  Cricket
