As many of you know, Craig has been battling colon cancer for the past few years. The cancer metastasized and has spread to Craig's lungs. Before Christmas, Craig was hospitalized for pneumonia, but happily was released from the hospital right before Christmas Eve, and he was able to spend Christmas with family and friends. Unfortunately, while Craig was at home, his condition worsened, and he was forced to return to the hospital on the 28th due to difficulty breathing. Craig has been up and down during his hospital stay, having more problems at night and feeling a bit better during the days. He has a great team of doctors, nurses, and family around him during this time.
Craig will be moving to hospice care today, Thursday, January 4th, to be in a more comfortable situation.
Craig does not want visitors or phone calls currently. We appreciate you respecting his wishes. If you have a message you would like to send Craig and family, please post your comments on this Caring Bridge site, and we will make sure Craig gets them.
