Cindy Zink Courage For Cindy Z

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Cindy was recently diagnosed with ALS. You may know Cindy from the STICK IT OR STUFF IT food truck (https://www.stickitorstuffit.com/), Everett Community College's Parks Cafe (https://www.everettcc.edu/administration/college-services/parks-cafe) or other church, business, and community roles. She has provided leadership for the formation of daycare centers, a nationwide training program, homeschool support groups and women’s shelter programs. She is the mom of three and Granny to eight delightful small people.

ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. As ALS progresses, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost and it eventually leads to death.

In 2017, Cindy began losing the ability to control her foot and leg. While doctors worked on why this was happening, it only progressed until she was finally diagnosed in June 2019. Currently she is unable to walk on her own and within a few weeks she will be completely dependent on a wheelchair to get around. Please see her gofundme (https://www.gofundme.com/help-cindy-zink-courageously-quotstick-itquot-to-als) page to help get her a wheelchair lift.

Cindy is incredibly courageous because of the faith she has in her creator. Her heart's desire throughout her life has been to share His love with others and because of this she has blessed so many people. Please join team #CourageForCindyZ and bless her with your prayers and donations.
