Corbin Owens

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, Corbin was staying with his sitter, and when she checked on him, he was unresponsive and cold to the touch.  She immediately phoned for help and began CPR.  The EMTs quickly arrived and were able to revive Corbin en route to the local hospital.  He was placed under sedation and on a ventilator.  Corbin was then transferred to the Pediatric ICU at Texas Children's Hospital in downtown Houston and remains in the PICU at Texas Children's.  He is still on a ventilator, and in a medically induced coma, while the medical team tries to determine what's going on and how to best treat Corbin.  There are signs of an infection, but no details yet as to the origin of the infection.  Please pray for wisdom for the medical team, thankfulness for Corbin's sitter who acted so quickly to save his life, peace for James and Jennifer and each of their family members, and for a full recovery for this precious little boy.
