We (Connor’s mother & maternal grandmother) are setting up this  site so that all of Connor’s friends and family can keep up with his progress in one place, send him messages, post pictures, etc.

As you all know Connor is a strong, good-natured, talented, & bright 17 yr old young man, just to name a few of his attributes. He has had the mis-fortune of running into a brutal storm called Ewings Sarcoma this year.  The initial MRI & diagnosis were made February 23rd. Since then he has been in and out of hospitals (mostly in the Sacred Heart hospital in Spokane), where he and his mom are now basically living in a house donated for their use by a friend.  He has been fighting a strong fight!  He is currently in the middle of a 6-month regimen of chemo therapy and preparing for surgery in June.  We are grateful for amazing and caring doctors, therapists and nurses!

We will go back and post information about the journey thus far in case some of you are just getting on board.

Please join Team Connor by letting him know you are fighting with him, as well as keeping him and his family in your prayers as he continues to fight the good fight.

EWing’s Sarcoma is caused by a protein mixup where the DNA & RNA  AND SOMEHOW MAKES THE RNA cause the cancer.
BEAT CHILDHOOD CANCER is doing specific research into this. Stephanie is sending Connor’s DNA samples that were retrieved at the start of this journey when the first biopsies were done and some RNA samples being taken now

There are several trials ongoing now but none that Connor is eligible for currently, one that swipes away the mixed up RNA protein

There is also a preventative therapy in the works to be given post surgery & chemo!
