Faith, Family and Friends is what I have always lived by.

Faith: I have always believed in my Heavenly Father. Through this journey HE will be by my side and I know HE will not leave me.
Family: Craig and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary July 23rd.  I feel so blessed to be married to my very best friend.  I have two amazing boys that bring me so much joy .  Bryson is a Special Ed Teacher at Waterloo West high school and Nathan is a Residential Officer for Black Hawk County in Waterloo.
Friends: We have such an amazing group of friends.  I truly believe that God put each and every one of them in my life for a reason.

I wanted to share my story on this site so that I can try to do my best in letting everyone know what is happening during this journey.  I do not want to discourage people from texting or calling me.  You are also welcomed to stop by and give me a hug,  you know how I love to give hugs!
A very important message I want to give to all the women that read my site is please go for your yearly check ups.  And when it's time to get a mammogram PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go directly from your gynecologist appointment to mammography.  My doctor told me that I saved my life by  getting my annual mammogram as early as I could.  I did not feel a lump and my doctor did not as well, it was the mammogram that spotted the lump.

Faith, Family and Friends will help me walk though this journey and my family and I will be even stronger than what we were before.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.  I so believe in the power of prayer.  Love to you all.
