Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Mom was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last Wednesday while they were in Florida.  After today's doctors appointment at the Mayo Clinic, we as a family, have decided to do the aggressive chemo treatment.  Before they can start, we need to get the biopsy slides from the Ft. Myers hospital for the doctors at Mayo to read and proceed with the treatment.  She will be receiving treatment in Rochester~with all the information we received, we forgot to ask which hospital she will be in.  Treatment will either start later this week or early next week.  Her treatment  will include at least a 30 day hospital stay and then she will be able to come home for about 2 weeks, then back again for a second 30 day treatment with another 2 week break and then back
for the third 30 day.   We ask for everyone's continued prayers and support as God takes her on this journey.
