Wednesday, November 8, 2017, Connie was admitted to hospital. MRI and CT scans showed a tumor in her brain approximately 1 inch in diameter located just above her right ear. Once discharged, Connie and the family chose to seek more information which led them to the James Cancer Center at Ohio State University in Columbus.

The medical team at the James Cancer Center worked quickly and Dr. Elder, her neurosurgeon, suggested that if he was going into her head to biopsy the tumor, he might as well remove the whole thing.  Monday, November 20, 2017, Connie was admitted for more testing and pre-op preparations for surgery Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

This is the short short version of the story as we have arrived at Surgery Day.
