Conley Marie Rohall

Conley Marie is an amazing 14 year-old girl who has faced many medical challenges in her short life with courage and grace. She and her twin sister were born extremely premature at 24 weeks gestation due to Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) - a rare condition that affects identical twin pregnancies. Conley weighed 1.1 lbs at birth and her "big sister" weighed 1.5 lbs at birth. She spent 5 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and endured heart surgery, eye surgery, seizures, and was on a ventilator for 2 months. Her early years were spent in and out of the hospital with lung infections and other medical complications. She has diagnoses of Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and Chronic Kidney Disease, But she is brilliant, beautiful, talented, and kind to everyone she meets. She makes us belly laugh with her goofiness and sings like an angel. She is a straight A student who loves to ride horses and is obsessed with stuffed animals. She loves music and reading and annoying her sisters whenever possible. She has 2 rescue dogs and 3 rescue birds and would adopt more if she could... Her faith in God is inspiring. Conley Marie is facing the fight of her life as she gears up for a kidney transplant in the coming weeks. If asked, she will tell you that her kidneys are named "Kidney" (of course), "Cindy" and the newest addition - "Mindy." Mindy Kidney is currently living in Conley's Mom, but will soon find a new home with Kidney and Cindy when Mom donates Mindy to Conley. Thanks for following Conley and her family on this journey!
