Dan Hunt Commander Gets A Heart

Why the site's name?  When my journey with heart issues began, I was the Combat Systems Officer on USS NASSAU, an amphibious assault ship.  We were returning from Desert Storm when I suffered an aneurysm.   During the workup for surgery to repair it, one of my sailors said "Commander had exploratory heart surgery, but they couldn't find it."  So, now I'm getting one.


I don't know how often I'll update, but when I do, you can choose email or text notices if you'd like.
