Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Colleen was recently having severe pain and had a CT scan, which showed a tumor on her bladder. Unfortunately, last night through MRI and biopsy, we found the tumor had progressed into other areas and she is going to require aggressive chemotherapy. She should be in to see the oncologist late this week or early next week and start treatment. The goal is to stop the progression of the cancer enough so that her bladder can be removed and the cancer contained. This is considered a T3 bladder cancer - we do not yet know the stage and will know more after her first oncology appointment.

Jersey is set to start back to work next week after his winter hiatus and Colleen will be missing some work as well. I will most likely set up a schedule for meal delivery, transport to Bri's volleyball practices and if needed, people to accompany Colleen to her appointments. Once we have the full picture, I will be able to reach out to friends and family to get something set up.

A few people have asked about a Go Fund Me page. This is something I will address with Jersey and Colleen shortly and let you all know.

For now, please pray for my best friend, who is a dear friend to all of us. I will update this journal as new information develops. Much love,

Michelle
