Those who know Colleen will agree that she is happy and loves her family, friends and music. In the spring of 2014, Colleen started to experience seizures from epilepsy that was developing. She was 28 years old at the time. Since then, the seizures have been more frequent and have kept her in a wheelchair.
The weekend before Thanksgiving 2016 brought on many complications for Colleen. Although we did not know it until she got into the hospital on Wednesday, November 23rd, she had a UTI and was severely dehydrated. She was transferred to Mo Bap later that day. Colleen was mostly unresponsive for two days. The EEG showed that she was experiencing near constant seizure activity.
