Dear friends and family,
We have invited you here to share some news that has changed Paul and mine's  life for this moment in time.  2 weeks ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. On April 3rd Paul and I will be at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton for the Pre-Op visit and surgery the following day.
I considered different ways of letting you all know: Facebook, email or phone calls. Then I came across the idea of a "blog type" place that was more intimate then Facebook. This site could help me, when my time might be restricted, to keep all of you, that love and support me, know how things are going. Because of those reasons I would like to keep you all up-to-date through this site. In no way do I want this to be a substitute from any messages, calls or visits. You can message me here as well as email or texts but the wonderful thing about this site is that it shows me your messages and visits...all in one place. I want to hear from you and see you if you can. The only thing is throughout this there will be times, that may be hard for me to get back to you right away, times when I could be recuperating, or emotionally overwhelmed.
To those that want to reach out with support, I want to hear from you, it will help me beyond measure. I would love to respond to each one of you personally, but I have so much happening I may not be able to do that, at least not soon. Please know now your, thoughts, words and actions of support are an act of friendship and love and I use all of it to keep fighting and stay on the path of hope. You make a difference to me❤ We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.
