Cole is a smart, creative, athletic, funny, energetic, caring, kind boy. He is a wonderful son, brother, and friend. He loves all things sports, but especially baseball, basketball, and skateboarding. On October 11, 2020, Cole started to experience difficulty with his speech. He started a "tic" that presents as handshaking. Later that day he had a full-blown panic attack. His speech difficulties and shaking have remained and present themselves primarily when he is anxious, which is most of the time. His brain seems to be stuck in fight or flight. After a 5 day stay at a local children's hospital, he was diagnosed by his team of neurologists, psychologists, and hospitalists (pediatricians) with Functional Neurological Disorder (
