Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
Our Mom was feeling weak, tired, sore, right side and back pain for several weeks.  After finally requesting a CT Scan, spots on her pancreas, liver and abdominal lining were seen.  A biopsy was done on December 27th.   Mom did not want to hear the result of that biopsy until she had an appointment set up with an oncologist.  An appointment with oncology was not an option until after the first of the year.  She was OK with that as Christmas is such a fun family holiday, Jamie's favorite....Our Mom did not want the Christmas holiday to be a memory of a horrible diagnosis.  The waiting for the news was so hard.  Seemed like Months.  Then finally on January 5th,  mom and I knelt and said a prayer,then we left her house and arrived for her first appointment with the oncologist, Dr. Sharon Soule (she is such a wonderful person).  Dr. Soule delivered the worst news possible.  Our Mom has Pancreatic Cancer, It is IN-OPERABLE and Chemo is her only option for survival.  And so it begins.  Please keep up with her journey by following the Caring Bridge post.  I will do my very best to keep up to date.  Cards, phone calls, visits and MUCH support and Encouragement is very welcome.  Our Mom has demanded that NO ONE pity her, Just constantly remind her of her strength.
