Colbie Blodgett Colbie Brain Surgery

Colbie was diagnosed in utero with AVID Complex. There has only been 20 case studies documented. The complexity includes Ventriculomegaly, Interhemispheric Cyst, and Dysgenesis of the Corpus Callosum to include missing his Septum Pellucidum. The cyst is why I write here today. The cyst grew into all four ventricles causing Hydrocephalus. Colbie has a rough 3 months of this beautiful life. He was born early by 1 month. Stayed in NICU for 27 days, home 18 days then back for brain surgery.  They had done a ETV/CPC that failed within 5 days, then shunt was placed. We stay a total of 20 days. Now, here we are again. This time home 3 weeks and back to hospital. Shunt infection. Another brain surgery, shunt is pulled and now we wait. Wait to kill this bacteria and watch him in ICU. What do we do? What do we honestly do? I can't work, my contribution no longer exists. My husband is the sole provider. Fear on top of fear. We are already overwhelmed with medical emergencies with Colbie. Now, we are overwhelmingly stressed about all our bills, our rent, food, school supplies, school fees. We are literally done. We are close to losing our home, and honestly packing up and calling it quits. All we can afford to do is worry about our Colbie and making sure that insurance gets paid. We are at a loss. Everything is just out of control. We truly need so much help. Its embarrassing. It just feels like a nightmare yet I'm just not waking up. We just ask for help in all ways. We don't expect anything but even $1 given freely over 1000's of people will help us. We tried a $5 for 5 challenge. All it takes is ONE share from thousands. Please help our Colbie. Gf/me/tihttu
