Cody Green

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about Cody Green (alias SMOOCHIE).

My Story begins in the year 2001. Please be sure to read the latest in the journal for a recent update, view the photo gallery, and drop me a line in the guestbook!

It was November of 2001 when Duane and Tracy Green received the news that their youngest son, Cody Green, who was only a year and a half old, had Acute Lymphoma Leukemia (A.L.L.). This was devastating news. Cody was very sick and was immediately transported to Riley's Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana to stabilize his condition and start his treatment in battling the blood cancer. Cody gained his strength through his parents, who one or the other were always by his side and was able to beat the odds and went into remission.

Cody, his two brothers, Eric, Andrew and his parents were able to go to DisneyWorld in Florida through the Make a Wish Foundation for a week! Unfortunately, during this time, a hurricane struck, although if you ask the boys, this was the highlight of the trip because they are so adventurous.

On April, 17th, 07, Cody's parents once again received the news that Cody's A.L.L. had returned. Cody is once again the little trooper, at age seven now, fighting his battle against this blood-borne cancer and he does it with such style and grace that would put many adults to shame. Cody is now 11yrs old and his leukemia has returned again. He is a strong little boy and has begun this fight again.                                                                                                     All prayers are welcome, because
