Cody Campbell

We are not the type of family to ask for help but there are situations, like now, that we need all the help we can get! My brother, Cody Campbell, has been sick for the past 2 weeks. He went to the clinic here in Haskell, Tx and the told him it was an upper respiratory infecton. the prescribed him antiobiotics. After finishing his antibiotics, he still wasnt feeling any better. Being the stubborn one he his, my mom Tammy Campbell made him go back to the clinic. They did blood work and when it came back his white blood count was EXTREMELY high. The Dr told my mom and Cody that he needed to go to the Emergency Room in Abilene. The Dr in Haskell contacted a Dr in Abilene to get him seen immediately there. The Dr in Haskell said there was a possibility that Cody could have Leukemia. My mom took him immediately to Hendricks where they did more blood work and found similar results. With it being a holiday monday, Hendricks couldnt do the tests he needed until Tuesday. They set up a transfer to University Medical Center in Lubbock, Tx. My mom and dad, Randy Campbell, immediately took Cody to Lubbock to the hospital there. They ran tests and on Saturday, September 3rd my brother was diagnosed with ACUTE MYELOGENOUS LEUKEMIA. They will be doing a bone marrow biopsy Tuesday. If it comes down to a bone marrow transplant, which I pray it doesn't, I have agreed to be my brothers donor if we are a match. Which the Hemotologist said that my sister and I are more than likely his match! I will go to the end of the earth for him! My brother and mom were denied housing at Hope Lodge and my brother is 3 years to old for the Ronald Mc Donald house. This provides a place for my mom to stay while Cody is in the hospital along with a place for Cody and my mom when he is dicharged and recieves after care.I am asking for any donations to help my parents with housing, gas going back and forth from Haskell and Lubbock.  Also, to help with food, medical bills that his insurance won't pay for, and the bills they have at home.Anything is GREATLY appreciated!I would also like to ask for continued prayers for Cody! We love him dearly! Thank you all for your support and prayers for my brother! I am so thankful God has put so many wonderful people in my brothers life! Y'all are all so amazing! We will get through this together!
