About a week and a half ago, Clem started having weakness in his legs. He went in for a scheduled biopsy on a lump on his neck. That night his legs became weaker and his primary doctor said to go to the hospital. While there he celebrated his birthday and got the biopsy results of CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia). Apparently this is a disease that commonly effects older individuals. It is slow progressing and usually doesn't cause fatality.
Since then he has had multiple tests run but has progressively lost the ability to stand and walk on his own. The decision was made to transfer him down to Vanderbilt from Cincinnati.
So this starts from there. He would gain so much strength from his loved ones and friends so we started this page. Please leave comments and positive thoughts for him.
