Sunday October 22

It's been 33 days since Clem and Laurie got the call that he would get a "second wind"  - new lungs - at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

With his new lungs, Clem is walking 1.2 to 1.4 miles each day and able to do more around the house - the things all of us love to do like take the dog out, cook, etc.

Having passed the 30 day mark feels good - still awaiting the final reports from the bronchoscopy last Wednesday but enjoyed Saturday making ribs in the smoker for family and eating them out on the deck in the warm October weather.

Thank you again to all the family and friends that follow Clem and Laurie's journey - cheering them on, supporting them with thoughts, prayers, and chores.  Cheers to all of you.
