Welcome to our CaringBridge website. On October19th, 2016, Claudia had whipple surgery at the University of Minnesota Hospital. This page is updated to record her progress in her recovery. The surgery went well and there was no cancer. She was released and spent a month in Superior for rehab, but had some complications. She developed an abscess in her incision and was sent back to the University hospital. After she was released from the hospital, she was sent to Monticello CentraCare for rehab. We are using this page to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.Thank you for visiting!
