Clarn Posey's Cancer Fight 
He was diagnosed September 16th 2016 with a Primary Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4, a terminal cancer. This type of brain cancer is the most aggressive and deadliest form of brain Cancer. Fortunately the location, in the Occipital Lobe, has so far only taken some of his sight. He is also at great risk for Seizures due to the location and will continue to take medication in an attempt to avoid one. Starting October 13th he will undergo Radiation and Chemotherapy concurrently for six weeks then only Chemotheraphy for the rest of his life. This is to extend time in between the next tumor growth, as this cancer does regrow. Again there is no cure but extension of life. 
Clarn also had another mass in his abdomen and it was removed, not cancerous, yeah! Though he is having trouble with the incision healing the cancer therapy will still begin immediately. His prognosis is 14 months, the average for Primary GBM Grade four. We do pray he will beat that and be the 30% who live to two years. We ask for prays that God chooses to miraculously lets him live for five years. We all pray for complete healing! And some Christians know if God cures him completely it will be to our fathers glory!! 
Although they have Insurance and he did retire from City Public Service in San Antonio in June 01, 2015. He was working for a FedEx contractor as a Professional Longhaul Team driver since his retirement and up to the diagnoses. His wife had not worked since back surgery in July 2015. This means Clarn’s loss of his current employment has left them financially devastated.  
In addition to their normal budget they have a daily two hour drive for six weeks of Radiation and Chemotherapy Treatment, Chemotherapy medications, 4500.00 out of pocket max, etcetera. Then continued daily Chemotherapy for the reminder of his earthly time. 
Clarn Posey is a greatman, a Christian man, a fantastic father of two lovely and intelligent Daughters, a fabulous Step Father, is a cherished Brother, a Grandfather to five Grandchildren, and a beloved family member. Clarn is fortunate to be married to a women who adores him. Clarn developed many desirable qualities while possessing a good sense of humor. He is the type of man who goes above and beyond for his family, friends and even strangers. Clarn frequently helped out the broke down driver, who gave generously to United way. And will show up prepared to help you out because he believes this is what we are called to do. We have to mention his whit and charm. As one colleague said, “when Clarn walked in he lite the room up”. Another friend stated he was always appreciated his knowledge, willingness to help, and silly sayings. Included in his ultimate plan to retire he had planned to clear property, build a small home, help his wife with her aging parents, spend quality time with his grandchildren and brother in law, who is a disabled Vet, and RV the states during the summers. That is the kind of man he is. 
Although his family loves him we are not able to sustain the financial loss he is immediately experiencing. Please help Clarn meet his current debts and new medical expenses.
