Coog/Clarence/Dad/Opa -

Suffered a devastating medical event on Sunday December 6th, a tear of the main artery coming out of the heart (the aorta). He underwent a 9-hour surgery to replace the aorta and repair related damage. He has been in the Intensive Care Unit at Lancaster General since the surgical procedure. Each day has brought improvements and setbacks. We are immensely grateful for the level of care he is receiving and the gifted, dedicated doctors and nurses caring for him. His recovery will be a long journey, we continue to look to God for strength to sustain us all. Your positive thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated at this very trying time.
