Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Clare was diagnosed with Stage 3A Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She had felt a bump above her right collarbone in February. She initially thought it was an injury from getting hit by a hockey puck. While mom and dad were visiting she showed it to Sylvia who recommended getting it checked out.
Many tests, scans and a biopsy led to the diagnosis

Clare has an excellent prognosis. She will have 6 cycles Of chemotherapy  each cycle is 21 days. The first 3 days are inpatient at Minneapolis Children’s. Day 8 she gets chemo in St Cloud at the Pediatric Short Stay unit. She then has a recovery period. During the recovery time her blood counts will be watched. She may need transfusions and is at risk for infections

Clare is a sophomore at Providence College in Rhode Island where she is a goalie on the women’s hockey team. She is finishing this semester from home. She plans to return to Providence for Fall semester.

Clare has been supported by so many friends and family. It has been amazing and greatly appreciated.
