Welcome to Claire “Bear” Stevens’ CaringBridge website. She is a 12 year old  7th grader at Manchester Academy. She has been very busy girl this summer. Claire has been practicing school softball, basketball and soccer normally 2 to 3 days a week. She also was to have JV Maverette  dance camp soon.  On her non sports days she has been working  and driving  a zero turn lawnmower cutting grass on Papaw Jim and Granny P’s farm.  On Friday July 17th, an accident  occurred while she was fueling the mower and over 50 percent of her body was burned. Her brother Connor (16) and cousin Chaz immediately found her and took her to Rolling Fork to the ER.  From there she was flown by Air Care to Central MS Medical Center (Merit Health) in Jackson, MS.  All prayers and words of encouragement are appreciated .
