While recently hospitalized from March 18, 2021 to March 30, 2021, with complications of eating solid foods and trouble breathing, I was officially diagnosed with Throat and Neck Cancer (Stage 3).
I am under the care of a great group of medical professionals and surrounded by my family and friends in the Chesterfield, VA area. On Tuesday, April 13th I started my road to recovery. I received my first of six weekly chemo infusions (Bon Secours Cancer Institute at St. Francis - Dr. Radhika Thorn). In addition, I began receiving my daily radiation treatments that will continue for 7-weeks for a total of 35 treatments (Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Johnston Willis - Dr. David Randolph II).
