Welcome to the CaringBridge website for Cindy Rash. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

My name is Laura Smith. Cindy and I are both jewelers for Premier Designs Jewelry.  Cindy has been tentatively diagnosed with APL Leukemia.  That's the better diagnosis for leukemia and we are hoping that is what it is confirmed as over the next week.  Her blood counts (white, red & platelets) are dangerously low.  She is in a germ free environmental wing at UT Southwestern in Dallas.  She has zero immunity and low blood oxygen that is causing severe chest pains.  Once the diagnosis is confirmed, she will remain there for arsenic chemotherapy for approximately 4 weeks or until blood levels are normal.

Because Cindy is in a germ free environment, visitation is limited to 2 to 4 per week right now. Everyone will need to scrub down and wear a mask upon entering the wing.  And you must be 100% well to visit.

Please feel free to send encouraging cards to:
William P Clements
Attn: Cindy Rash, code 9348, Rm 1117
6201 Harry Hines Blvd
Dallas, TX 75390

Expenses will be enormous.  If you would like to make a financial donation to Cindy, I will be setting up a donation link on this site.

I will update the details as they become available.

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him."
James 1:12

Keep praying,

Laura Smith
