God is leading the way and we are holding fast to His healing promises!
On Tuesday November 15, 2016 Cindy went in for a needle biopsy on a small lump in her left breast. It came back the next day as positive for breast cancer. We have since learned that it is invasive, it is early (stage 1), she has a positive HER2 factor, and it is estrogen driven. All that has guided the Drs to target specific treatment.
This Friday, Cindy will go in for placement of her port, and will then begin her first round of chemo. They said 5 hours.
She will eventually lose her hair, and this is one of the hardest parts for her to accept...but we have head coverings on the way and have laughed and cried at all the possibilities.
Please pray for calm, and peace that passes all understanding. Pray for the doctors wisdom, and ultimate complete healing. We are told the survival rate is a 100% five year rate. We are going to pray and watch our mighty Lord show off with this one!
