"This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it"
I was first diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in May 2015. After completing chemotherapy (Fluorouracil) and radiation, my tumor was resected with 99% success. I still had one lymph node that tested positive out of 16.
My first scan after surgery was clean, but my second scan was positive for metastatic cancer in the liver. The treatment I was given next was a combination of Gemzar & Abraxane. The scan after this treatment was clean as well, however 3 months later, I again tested positive for metastatic cancer in the liver.
With so many options available, I am asking any Survivors who have gone through this to share their success stories with clinical trials. I am willing to travel to get the best treatment. I have the following mutations: KRAS, TP53, CDKN2A. Please share your stories with me.
