The day before Christmas, we were headed out to do some last minute Christmas shopping, but Cindy mentioned her headache was still bothering her. Her primary care physician’s office was closed so we headed to Hoag Irvine ER to get Cindy some relief. We thought she was gonna just get a CT scan to rule out an any risk or some brain issue, but after a few hours in the ER the Doctor came back with shocking and unexpected news. “Your white blood cell count is 160k which is very high, worst case scenario it can be leukemia we’re sending out the labs for analysis”. That same day they admitted Cindy to Hoag Irvine. The 5 days of testing and waiting was such an emotional roller coaster and for a lack of better words a mind fuck. Cindy’s 5 days at Hoag irvine was over and that night Cindy transferred to Hoag Newport Beach to start “7+3” induction therapy. Without the love, support, and help of our amazing family, friends, and Fam Brand family we couldn’t imagine how we would’ve survived the first 5 days without y’all. A special thanks to those who made and are still making miracles happen for is behind the scene. Cindy Loves you all and whole heartedly believes she will come out on top.
