Thank you for visiting. This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be Glad. This is how my mom starts her day everyday and today is no different. Please join us in prayers for my mom this morning. This is her daughter, Katie Mack, and I will do my best to keep this site updated at all times. 

We had had a rough week. My mom has been battling a cough since Mid-June with frequent trips to the doctors office coming home with steroids, inhalers, and antibiotics. Nothing was touching this cough. Last week she had a chest x-ray which showed a mass on her bronchial tubes. A cat scan was done this Monday and it showed that the mass was wrapped around her trachea and appears to be malignant. This was obviously very hard to stomach. They scheduled a biopsy for this Friday which at the time seemed like light years away. 

I came to Lincoln yesterday to spend time with my mom and when I got there her breathing was shallow and she was coughing up blood. We immediately got in the car and drove up to the Methodist main campus in Omaha. I am so glad that we are here as they seem to be taking things a lot more seriously. We are hoping for the biopsy to be done today. My mom is strong and she is ready to take on whatever comes her way. We were joking last week that she beat me at arm wrestling. Don't judge. :-) We say she has Old women strength. Please pray that we catch this in an early stage. My mom is very social so please feel free to call, text, or come visit. They just came back in and said biopsy may not be til tomorrow. They are still waiting to get the images from Lincoln. I will keep you posted. God is good!
