Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.   ALS a disease of baby steps - it takes a long time, sometimes years, to eventually kill you.  No two cases of ALS are the same.  Some people die rapidly.  Others live for ten or twelve years.  Some people only have arm involvement.  Others have leg and voice involvement at first.   The one commonality is that the disease is progressive and eventually it gets your arms, legs, neck, voice, and lungs.  It just takes a while.  So while we are on this journey we appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.
