Sunday, July 1st brought a day full of fun including swimming and Ping-Pong playing with visiting daughters from Maine and Pennsylvania and a granddaughter from New York City. Late that evening, Chuck suffered a stroke in the right frontal lobe of his brain. By God’s amazing grace, Chuck was able to get the care he needed, but it was a long evening with a transport to one hospital where he received the magic stroke medicine and then to a second hospital. He is being monitored closely at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC and will soon be in a rehabilitation facility .
Please know that Chuck/Dad/Grandpa is doing well now into this third day. Many blessings….
