I had a minor stroke  on September 28, 2017, at 10:00 PM.  The stroke affected my right hand and right eye only and lasted for about 45 minutes.  I was in the hospital for two days as the Neurologist and Cardiologist ran tests to determine the extent of the problem.  The brain injury from the stroke was minor and I have fully recovered from that.  The heart is another issue.  The stroke was caused by a birth defect in my septum where a pin hole leak allowed a small blood clot to bypass the lungs and and go straight to my brain.  A heart cath showed the enlargement in my ascending aorta, the leaking bipolar aortic valve, the septum pinhole leak, and a 70% blockage of one artery of the heart.  Waiting for open heart surgery now.
