Chuck/Biddle/Fafa he came down with a virus in the early days of March. His son Robert cared for him and he seemed to be making a good recovery when on March 13 he relapsed, or perhaps came down with a new virus. He chose not to go to the hospital and to remain at home, where his family kept him comfortable, with the guidance of hospice and home healthcare nursing. His daughter Barbara was his primary caregiver and was then joined by son Robert and granddaughter Kendra.

Biddle passed away this morning at 8:30. He did not experience pain, slept peacefully through the night, and drifted away. Robert and Kendra stayed awake with him until dawn patting him and talking to him, and Barbara spent the early morning hours with him. We know that he understood how loved he is by his family and friends. Thank you for holding him in the light. Continue your prayers and messages of support here, but please reserve calls until Monday.

We have planned two informal celebrations of Biddle's life tomorrow, Sunday, March 26th.

Come sit with us in silent meditation in memory of Chuck at Friends Meeting, a Quaker worship, at the Oddfellows Hall in San Luis Obispo, 520 Dana St., San Luis Obispo, CA 93401, from 10-11 am.

That afternoon we will have a gathering for family and friends at the Atlee home, 5080 Hacienda Ave. in San Luis Obispo, from 3-5pm. Potluck snacks.

Lots of love to all of you and thank you so much for your prayers and wishes.
