Dear Family and Friends,

Thank you for visiting our CaringBridge site for our dad, Chuck Adorney.


We want to inform you that our father has been in hospice since January. His heart is failing, and he has chosen to forgo surgery to repair the valves. Dad wants to live out is final days in the comfort of his home and we are blessed that he has in-home health aids providing care 24/7; they are a dedicated and loving team, and he enjoys their company very much.

Yesterday we learned that Dad has less than a month to live. He's sleeping more and eating less and has expressed that he is ready to move on to join Leila, his devoted wife of 47 years. He offered encouraging words that we will make it through this tough time and that we need to work together to make the world a better place.

Needless to say, we are all very sad. It is a hard time to be losing him, as those of us who live far away are unable to be with him at this time. But we are working together to care for him in these final days.
We have set up this CaringBridge site so that we can keep you abreast of what is happening. You will also be able to send him messages of love and encouragement here.

Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during these trying times. We hope that you are well and safe, and we look forward to being with you in the future.
