On Wednesday, July 17 Chrys suffered a stroke at her home. Fortunately, her '5-hour-a-week-yard-man' Martyn was there and able to summon Chrys' son Kirk who immediately got her to Kennestone hospital. She underwent surgery to remove a clot from her brain and a subsequent second surgery to remove a blood clot on her leg.
Her family, friends, and other loved ones are praying for a speedy recovery.
