Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Chris Vermilion has been diagnosed with a couple of brain tumors: Glioblastoma and Astrocytoma. Unfortunately, the tumors are large and due to the location and tentacle-like branches, it is too dangerous to surgically remove them. The pressure of the tumors has caused a partial loss of vision, severe chronic headaches and impaired motor skills on his left side. Our family is devastated and we need your prayers.

Chris will start radiation and chemotherapy next week, and will continue treatment for the next 6-7 weeks. The goal of treatment is to slow tumor growth and improve quality of life. After the first round of treatment, the doctors will reassess his condition and determine our next steps.

PLEASE NOTE: Our sons are not aware of the full details of Chris's cancer at this time. Please help us keep the details discussed on this site private until further notice.

Love,
Chris and Jennifer
