Dear family, friends and extended community of Christy,

On January 14th, Christy was diagnosed with Stage IV Rectal Adenocarcinoma, which has metastasized to her liver and lymph nodes. We are fortunate that she is surrounded by a competent, comprehensive medical team, including both alternative and conventional professionals. And her warrior spirit is strong as ever in the face of this challenge. We all want to help Christy during this time, and this site will provide a way for us all to do so, whatever our means and abilities.

For the healers, here is some advice from another of Christy's healing friends: "It is very important to NOT send Christy energy at this time. Sending energy only feeds the tumors and we are wanting to starve them so they shrink, shrink, shrink! The goal is to draw energy away from tumors. What you can do is visualize Christy healthy and whole, smiling and laughing in the light, suffused with delight as we have all experienced her."

You can also help in the following ways:

Team Power Suport -You are welcome to make a gift donation to help Christy's family pay for a her increased living expenses and uncovered medical expenses.  Just specify what you would like to help with, such as medicines, rent, food, travel, etc.  If so inclined, please make donations payable to Cathy Power, her mom, who is handling Christy's affairs at this time.

Nutrition - Christy is on a restricted diet. We are using The Cancer-Fighting Kitchen by Rebecca Kataz and Matt Elderson as a guide (along with her other dietary requirements.) If you'd like to prepare some nourishing meals for her from this book, that would be most appreciated. Please contact Christy's mother Cathy (at catpower996@gmail.com) to arrange for days you'd be able to provide meals.

Christy has always been a beacon of light in our community and in our hearts. She is a powerful woman and, with our love and assistance, she and her family will get through this challenging time.
