https://www.gofundme.com/clparker13On March 18, Christina was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of her left breast. Further test result show that the cancer had not spread to the lymph nodes. The pathology report show the tumors as triple negative which means this tumor is less common and doesn't respond to hormone therapy. The treatment plan includes 8 weeks of one type of chemo (going in every other week), then 12 weeks of another kind of chemo (going in every week), then surgery to remove the tumor. Why not remove the tumor now you might ask? Current treatment protocol shows a greater success rate from shrinking the tumor first to create a stronger margin upon removal.
