Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Christina "Tina" Donaldson's healing journey.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We will update the site with information that Tina wishes to share as she moves forward with her treatment and healing.   We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement and you can leave them here for her to view when she is feeling up to it. Tina was recently diagnosed with stage 1 triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma after finding a lump during a self-examination. Luckily she caught it quickly, but the doctors believe it is aggressive and so she will be beginning her treatment on Thursday August 12th. There will be a total of 20 weeks of chemo treatment. During the first 8 weeks, she will have chemo every other week.  Two weeks after that last infusion, she will begin chemo every week for 12 weeks. Ideally, this treatment will shrink the tumor and kill off all the cancer and she will have surgery to remove the markers and be one and done! She has a great team of doctors who will see her through this process.
