This unexpected journey began with a few weeks of common back pain. Chris eventually ended up on the kitchen floor (Wednesday 3/2/16). Hendersonville Hospital's CT scan discovered several lesions on the spine. The ER doctor said "it could be" cancer.

We met with Dr. Greco the very next day. He ordered more tests. Monday, March 7th, we went to Centennial Hospital by ambulance because of another terrible attack of pain in his back.

CT scan and MRI confirmed the lesions on the back and discovered a mass in his left lung. He was admitted hours later.

Biopsy of bone from the spine (Tuesday 3-8-16) confirmed there is a "carcinoma" (cancer) present, but we don't know what kind. Biopsy of the lung mass (Friday 3-11-16) could tell us the specific make-up.

Chris has been in significant pain all week. Thursday, March 10, we met with a Radiologist to discuss the use of radiation as cancer treatment and pain relief.
